

VISA AND REGISTRATION
1. Migration and registration rules
Once you come to Russia, what should you do first?
1. You have PCR test and exam within three days. The result must be given to the dean’s office.
2. The registration for the place of living (flat or dorm) must be done within 7 days.
3. If you had:
- Crossed the border
- Changed place of residence
- Stayed in a hospital
- Went to another city
- Decided to live in hostel or hotel
You have to do NEW registration within 3 days.
4. If you have any questions about registration or issuances of visa, you have to report to VISAS AND REGISTRATION in room 1-05.
2. VISA
You arrive in Russia with a study visa. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to keep your visa’s end date in mind. About 35-40 days before the date you need to bring all the documents to VISA and REGISTRATION department located in room 1-05.
All documents required for visa prolongation:
- Student contract (copy)
- Receipt of payment for visa prolongation (1600₽)
- ID picture 3x4 (one)
- Copies of all your visas in the passport plus the first page of the passport (two)
**Registration Copy (2 pieces)** **Originally**: Passport, registration, migration card. If your phone has changed, don’t forget to update Passport and Visa Service (room 1-05). Need to keep connected with you is critical. 3. MEDICAL INSURANCE 1. Everyone undergoing treatment or requiring a doctor’s visit should have Medical Insurance. If not – ALL MEDICAL PROCEEDURES WILL BE PAYFULL. Can be bought in the university hall or in an Insurance Company. Read the list of items you can do free under medical insurance before buying. Remember, that medical insurance activates only after 2 WEEKS from the day of purchase. 2. In case, you need emergency medical help, someone should call 103. 4. MEDICAL CHECK-UP After arrival to Russia, medical checkup should be done within a duration of 60-70 days Your checkup must be done early,uebberr ýerinekii, at Kim 20. At least a month prior to the exam, you need to get a new exam.
